About the ADS Department
Here at AVV, the ADS department creates and manages the download processes that
pull data from Dealership Management Systems (DMS). Our personnel includes Production
Programmers who setup up the initial reports in the DMS, a Quality Assurance staff that
monitors the overnight downloads, and a Customer Service staff that aids our customers
with the products and data feeds.
Our staff of Production Programmers will dial into your DMS using maintainence
telephone lines and set up reports depending on your DMS. We require 6910 (report generator)
access for Reynolds and Reynolds systems, and ENG (English Statement) access in an ADP

Our Quality Assurance staff monitors the downloads that occur overnight. If necessary
we redial into a system during the day and pull the data that was not retrieved
overnight. If any difficulties occur, our staff will call the dealership's system
administrator to attempt to resolve any errors so that the data we pull is accurate and current.
